Plateau Massacre Victims Begin Final Journey Home For Burial
The bodies of 27 victims brutally killed in a deadly attack on Bindi-Jebbu village in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State are being transported from the hospital morgue back to their community for a mass burial.
The heartbreaking incident, which occurred on Monday, July 14, 2025, claimed the lives of men, women, and children after armed assailants stormed the village in a night of terror.
According to reports from LIB, the community was left shattered by the tragic loss, with families mourning the sudden and violent deaths of their loved ones.
The mass burial for the victims has been scheduled for Friday, July 25, as the grieving village prepares to lay their sons, daughters, parents, and children to rest in one collective ceremony of sorrow and remembrance.
