Trump Slams Putin And Zelensky In Fiery Truth Social Rant
In a heated post on his social network, Truth Social, U.S. President Donald Trump unleashed a scathing critique of Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday evening — while also taking a jab at Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
“I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY!” Trump wrote. “I’ve always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s proving to be right — but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!”
Trump's comments followed an earlier statement expressing shock at the intensifying Russian airstrikes on Ukrainian cities. “I’m very surprised,” he had said, referring to the escalation.
But Trump didn’t stop at Putin. He also criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, accusing him of making inflammatory remarks that, in Trump’s words, “do his country no favors.”
“Everything out of his mouth causes problems,” Trump said. “I don’t like it, and it better stop.”
The controversial remarks have sparked fresh debate about Trump’s stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and his relationships with both leaders.
