11-Year-Old Actress Milena Brandão Dies After 21 Cardiac Arrests

An 11-year-old rising star has tragically passed away after suffering 21 cardiac arrests.

Milena Brandão, a beloved Brazilian actress and child model, was hospitalized on Wednesday, April 30, after experiencing severe headaches. Just two days later, she heartbreakingly lost her life.

Earlier that week, Milena’s mother, Thays Brandão, had revealed that doctors had diagnosed her daughter with a brain tumor.

In an emotional post shared with Milena’s Instagram followers on Friday, May 2, Thays broke the devastating news:

“The memories we created together will live on in my heart forever. I’ll never forget your joy, which lit up everyone around you.

My sweet girl, I already miss you so much, and I know I’ll miss you even more in the days ahead.

You were the light of our lives, and I know that from above you’ll continue to shine down on us.

I’ll love you forever — you’ll always be in my heart.”

Milena passed away at Grajaú General Hospital in São Paulo, Brazil. She had captured the hearts of many through her role in the popular soap opera The Childhood of Romeo and Juliet.

Fans and followers have been left devastated by the sudden loss of the young star, whose bright future was tragically cut short.
