Gunmen Kill Two, Injure Two In Pyakmalu Village

Gunmen have killed two people and injured two others in Pyakmalu village, Tangur District, Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The attack happened around 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

According to reports, the assailants stormed the residence of Ayuba Nuhu Lagan, 62, and shot him dead. They also killed Mama Uren Nuhu, a 75-year-old woman, before fleeing the scene. Two other residents were injured during the attack.

“The victims were rushed to Dung Clinic for treatment, while security operatives carried out a search of the surrounding area,” a local source, Tyopev, told security analyst Zagazola Makama.

Security forces have since deployed patrol teams to the village to prevent further attacks, while efforts are ongoing to track down the perpetrators.
