Kevin Spacey Opens Up: Confessions, Financial Struggles, And Risk Of Losing Home
Actor Kevin Spacey broke down briefly in an interview with Piers Morgan that aired in the U.K. Tuesday night as he explained how he’s lost his home in Baltimore and is out of money after years of defending himself against allegations of decades of sexual harassment and abuse brought by dozens of men.
In the interview, Spacey admits he'd "pushed the boundaries" by "being too handsy" with people against their wishes in the past, though he claimed he "didn't know at the time" they were unwanted advances.
Spacey said he has "caressed" or "been gentle" with men he was sexually pursuing, but chafed at Morgan's use of the word "grope” to describe what he’s been accused of.
In the same interview, Spacey seemed to fight tears as he explained his home in Baltimore has been foreclosed on and will be sold at auction, adding he's "not quite sure" where he's going to live going forward.
When Morgan asked how much money he has after years of being blacklisted in Hollywood (no films starring Spacey were released from 2019 to 2021) and fighting against accusations both in the U.S. and the U.K., Spacey responded with one word: “None.”
