Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson’s highly anticipated match against YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has been postponed, promoters announced on Friday, citing an ulcer that was discovered during Tyson’s medical consultation, though promoters said the fight will be made up.

Most Valuable Promotions, the company behind the match, had scheduled the match for July 20 at the AT&T Stadium outside Dallas, with a live broadcast on Netflix.

In a statement on Friday, the promotion company said medical professionals discovered an “ulcer flare up” in a recent exam on Tyson, recommending the 57-year-old former champion “do minimal to light training over the next few weeks and then return to full training with no limitations.”

Tyson is expected to make a full return to training “in the coming weeks,” according to Most Valuable Productions.

The company did not announce a make-up date, saying only that date will be made public on June 7.

“Both Mike and Jake are in agreement that it is only fair to ensure that both athletes have equal training time to prepare for this important match and are able to compete at the highest level,” Most Valuable Promotions wrote in a Friday statement, adding the “health and well-being of athletes is our top priority, and we fully support Mike in taking the necessary time to allow him to perform at the level he expects of himself.”

That match, against former champion Roy Jones Jr., was not a professional bout but an exhibition match. Tyson’s last professional match came in 2005, in a loss to Kevin McBride.
