Melania Trump Threatens $1 Billion Lawsuit Against Hunter Biden Over Explosive Epstein Claim

U.S. First Lady Melania Trump is threatening to sue Hunter Biden for a staggering $1 billion after he claimed she met former President Donald Trump through convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein — a statement her legal team calls “false, defamatory, and salacious.”

In a sharply worded letter, Melania’s attorney Alejandro Brito demanded Biden “immediately retract the false, disparaging, and inflammatory statements” and issue a public apology.

The controversy began after Biden repeated allegations originally made by Fire and Fury author Michael Wolff, who told a Daily Beast podcast in late July that Epstein and Trump shared a “model agent” who introduced Melania to the future president. The Daily Beast later apologized for publishing the claim, but Biden doubled down in an August 5 appearance on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan, saying:

> “They knew each other well… According to his biographer, Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania — that’s how Melania and the president met.”

Brito blasted Biden’s remarks as “lewd” and accused him of using Melania’s name to attract attention for personal gain. The letter, dated August 6, gave Biden until August 7 to retract the statement or face a $1 billion lawsuit for “overwhelming financial and reputational harm.”

Despite the legal threat, the Channel 5 interview remained on YouTube as of Wednesday night, where it has been widely shared and republished by media outlets, journalists, and influencers to millions of viewers.

Brito’s demand letter insists Biden must retract “in as conspicuous a manner” as the original broadcast and apologize for all “false, misleading, and defamatory” remarks. Failure to comply, the letter warns, will result in immediate legal action.

East Wing spokesperson Nick Clemens confirmed that Melania’s legal team is “actively ensuring immediate retractions and apologies” from anyone spreading the claims. He added, “The true account of how the First Lady met President Trump is in her best-selling book, Melania.”
