Halle Berry Turns 59, Claps Back At Ex With Vacation Glow And Sassy Caption

Halle Berry celebrated turning 59 in style this week — with sunshine, chocolate cake, and just a little shade.

The Oscar-winning actress and director shared a series of glowing vacation photos on Instagram, where she’s seen soaking up family time with her kids, enjoying sweet moments with her boyfriend, singer Van Hunt, and indulging in birthday cake bliss.

But while the pictures screamed joy, it was her caption that grabbed the spotlight:

“Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering.”

The cheeky line appeared to be a subtle clapback at comments made by her ex-husband, former MLB star David Justice.

Justice, who was married to Berry from 1993 to 1997, recently opened up on the All the Smoke podcast about why he thought their marriage didn’t last.

“At that time, as a young guy, she don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem motherly — and then we start having issues,” he said, recalling his doubts about starting a family with her.

Well, fast-forward to today, and Berry has more than proven him wrong. She’s now a proud mom of two: 17-year-old daughter Nahla, whom she shares with model Gabriel Aubry, and 11-year-old son Maceo-Robert, with ex-husband Olivier Martinez.

At 59, Berry isn’t just thriving — she’s glowing, clapping back, and living her best life.
