Harris Outraised Trump By More Than 3-To-1 Margin In September, Filings Show

According to filings made with the Federal Election Commission on Sunday, Harris’ principal campaign committee raised $221.8 million in September.
In comparison, Trump’s main campaign committee raised $62.7 million during the same period.
Harris’ campaign also spent more cash than Trump’s last month, $270 million compared to $78 million, with a majority of the spending for both campaigns going towards media costs—around $225 million for Harris compared to $53 million for the former president.
Despite massively outspending Trump’s campaign, the vice president's main committee retained its cash advantage at the start of October, with $187 million on hand compared to $120 million for the former president’s campaign.
When considering allied fundraising committees, Harris’ campaign set a record for the biggest fundraising quarter ever between July 1 and September 30 by raising more than a billion dollars, the New York Times reported.
Combined with their party committees, Harris and Trump raised $378 million and $160 million in September respectively, the report added.

$633 million. The total amount raised by the Harris Victory Fund—the vice president’s primary high-dollar fundraising committee—in the third quarter. In comparison, the Trump 47 Committee—the former president’s main big-dollar fundraising arm—brought in only $145.2 million during the same three-month period.

The Democratic National Committee spent $102.1 million in September and began this month with $46.6 million on hand. The Republican National Committee meanwhile had $69.7 million cash on hand at the start of October, after spending $47.4 million last month.
Who Are Some Of The Prominent Billionaire Donors?
Billionaire and Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz poured $10 million into the pro-Harris Future Forward USA PAC in September. Ripple Labs co-founder and billionaire Chris Larsen also donated $10 million to the pro-Democratic group last month, while hedge fund billionaire Stephen Mandel and his wife Susan gave $2.5 million each. The PAC also raised $5 million from Illinois Gov. and billionaire JB Pritzker in September. On the GOP side, billionaire Timothy Mellon donated $25 million to the pro-Trump PAC Make America Great Again Inc. last month. Filings made last week showed Republican megadonors and billionaires Dick Uihlein and Miriam Adelson had donated nearly $49 million and $95 million respectively to pro-Trump groups in the third quarter. Filings also showed Elon Musk, the world's richest person, contributed around $75 million to his pro-Trump America PAC.
