Sean “Diddy” Combs Faces Five More Lawsuits Amid Mounting Allegations

Sean "Diddy" Combs, the embattled music mogul, is now facing over 30 civil complaints, with five new lawsuits filed by male and female accusers alleging drugging and sexual assault. The incidents span from 2001 to 2022, reportedly occurring in New York City, the Hamptons, and Miami.

The majority of these claims describe assaults at parties hosted by Combs, including the infamous 2004 White Party. One male accuser alleges an assault during a casting call for a music video. Plaintiffs, all filing anonymously as "Jane Doe" or "John Doe," include two women who were 17 and 18 at the time of the alleged assaults and three men who claim they were drugged and sodomized by Combs.

Combs’ attorneys have categorically denied all allegations. "Mr. Combs has full confidence in the judicial process. The truth will prevail: he never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor," they stated in a response to CNN.

New Allegations and Escalating Legal Battles

Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the five new accusers alongside Andrew Van Arsdale, has been a vocal figure in these proceedings. Buzbee claims to represent over 100 plaintiffs with allegations against Combs and has filed 20 lawsuits to date. In a social media statement, he declared intentions to continue filing weekly lawsuits.

Combs’ legal team has dismissed Buzbee’s actions as “shameless publicity stunts” intended to coerce payments. In a dramatic turn, Buzbee himself faces a lawsuit for alleged extortion from an anonymous celebrity, a claim he has strongly denied.

Disturbing Allegations and Patterns

The latest lawsuits outline chillingly similar scenarios. Accusers describe being recruited to attend parties or auditions, being handed drugged drinks, and subsequently losing consciousness before being assaulted.

One accuser, a 17-year-old at the time, claims she was drugged and assaulted at the 2004 White Party. Her lawsuit details how Combs’ staff confiscated her purse and phone upon entry. After the alleged assault, she says she was threatened by Combs and his bodyguards, who warned her of dire consequences if she spoke out.

Another accuser, a former actor, alleges an assault during a 2001 music video audition in New York City. He recalls being given a spiked drink and waking up disoriented to find his clothing disheveled. He claims to have been assaulted by Combs and a bodyguard, requiring medical attention for injuries sustained.

Criminal Charges and Future Proceedings

In addition to the civil suits, Combs is incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting trial in spring 2025 on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty, while prosecutors continue to investigate and hint at possible additional charges.

Combs’ legal team plans a third attempt at securing bail following two prior denials. As the legal battles intensify, the music mogul's future remains uncertain, with mounting accusations threatening to reshape his legacy.
