Britney Spears Fires Back At The Osbournes
No one puts Britney Spears in a corner.
The pop icon was recently mentioned in an episode of “The Osbournes Podcast,” where Ozzy Osbourne expressed his concern about Spears’ social media activity. "I’m fed up with seeing poor old Britney Spears dancing on social media," the legendary rocker stated. "You know, it’s sad. Very, very sad."
His family, including his wife Sharon and adult children Kelly and Jack Osbourne, echoed his sentiments.
Spears, who frequently posts videos of herself dancing, caught wind of the comments and responded with a lengthy note. She began her post by referencing Kate Beckinsale’s 2001 movie “Serendipity” and noted the harsh criticism Beckinsale faced about needing more age-appropriate content. Spears pointed out that Beckinsale, in her fifties, is known for clapping back at social media trolls.
Addressing the Osbournes' complaints directly, Spears asserted that she rarely dances. She countered Sharon Osbourne's "poor little thing" comment with, "I’m not poor at all!!!"
"I taught a dance class last week to a couple of teenagers… a lot of the kids were too thin and some were too big," Spears wrote. "I know what it’s like to be judged, so it’s a ridiculous and stupid subject initially. But I think it’s important to HELP EACH OTHER and invite each other to places that help our souls to grow!!!"
In her note, Spears also referred to the Osbournes as "the most boring family known to mankind" and concluded by telling them to "kindly f**k off."
