Davis charged with felony assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury.

Former NBA player Glen "Big Baby" Davis has been formally charged with felony assault stemming from an alleged violent altercation in April, according to TMZ Sports. The official charge is "felony assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury," and if convicted, Davis faces up to seven years in prison.

The 32-year old was arrested after prosecutors say he threw a man to the ground outside of a West Hollywood nightclub, resulting in facial fractures, a broken tooth and broken ribs.

Earlier this year, Davis was indicted on seven counts of drug possession and distribution, after police reportedly found 126 grams of marijuana and $92,164 in a hotel room in Aberdeen, Maryland.

During his eight year NBA career, Davis played for three different teams, including a four-year stretch with the Boston Celtics in which they won an NBA title, as well as stints with the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers. He last played in the NBA during the 2015 season as a member of the Clippers.

He was signed up to play in the Big3 League this summer as a member of Power’s roster.
