DJ Khaled Sued By Model From "I'm The One" Video For Allegedly Not Paying Her
Reports say DJ Khaled is facing a lawsuit from an Instagram model featured in the "I'm The One" video.
DJ Khaled's all about "mogul talk." He prides himself on not only making hit records but handling his business correctly. He's one of the few people that hasn't faced too much backlash about his business practices. However, an Instagram Model is going after him right now. The model was featured in Khaled's "I'm The One" video with Lil Wayne, Chance The Rapper, Quavo and Justin Bieber. She's suing him for allegedly not paying for her
DJ Khaled's being sued by an Instagram Model who claims he never paid her for her appearance in his music video for "I'm The One," The Blast reports. Iryana Ivanova, an Instagram Model ith 4.3 million followers, says Khaled hired her on Feb. 27th, 2017 as an extra in the "I'm The One" video. Ivanona was the woman riding the white horse in the video. She says she was supposed to get $1,250 for her appearance in the music video but has yet to receive a penny. She's filed a lawsuit against Khaled in small claims court. She's seeking $1375 in the lawsuit for the money she didn't receive plus 10% interest. The case is expected to go to trial on July 2nd.
The $1375 doesn't even seem like it'll affect DJ Khaled's pockets ultimately. He recently announced that he'll be joining Beyonce and Jay-Z for the "OTR II" tour. On top of that, he also just launched the second season of "The Four" with Diddy, Meghan Trainor and Charlie Walk.
