Israel Launches Devastating Strikes On Iran’s Military And Nuclear Infrastructure, Killing Top Leaders

 

In an unprecedented escalation, Israel launched a massive overnight military operation on Friday, striking deep into Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure and reportedly killing some of the most powerful figures in the Iranian regime. Residents across Iran reported a night of chaos, with explosions shaking the ground in Tehran and fighter jets roaring overhead. Videos circulating online showed plumes of smoke and fire lighting up the capital. Iran’s airspace was shut down, and civil aviation suspended.

In Israel, a state of special emergency was declared. Airspace was closed, schools were shut, and public gatherings banned. The Israeli military began mobilizing tens of thousands of troops in anticipation of further Iranian retaliation.

Experts warn that this escalation could spark a broader conflict involving Iran’s regional allies, including Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen. Since the Gaza war began in 2023, Iran’s network of proxy forces has stepped up attacks on Israeli and U.S. positions in the region.
