The glitz and glamour of the Vegas Grand Prix reached new heights on Saturday night, as celebrities and sports icons descended upon the track for a dazzling event. Leading the pack was none other than football legend David Beckham, who, alongside basketball giant Shaquille O'Neal, set the stage for a night of racing excitement.

Beckham, the co-owner of Inter Miami and a Manchester United soccer legend, made a stylish entrance with his son Cruz, creating photo-worthy moments ahead of their Sports Illustrated party. The star-studded gathering also included former LA Galaxy and AC Milan footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, exchanging greetings with O'Neal in a display of camaraderie.

The temperature may have dipped to a cool 52 degrees Fahrenheit, but fashion took center stage as Veronika Rajek turned heads in a purple ensemble that left little to the imagination. Meanwhile, Alix Earle, the TikTok sensation and girlfriend of NFL player Braxton Berrios from the Miami Dolphins, shared snapshots from various vantage points around the track.

However, behind the scenes, the organizers faced challenges in the lead-up to the much-anticipated event. The first practice session hit a snag when a loose drain cover on the track forced an abrupt end after just eight minutes, resulting in damage to Carlos Sainz's Ferrari.

Despite these setbacks, Charles Leclerc, Sainz's Ferrari teammate, emerged in pole position for the Saturday night race. The pressure on Sin City was palpable, not only due to on-track issues but also reflected in disappointing ticket sales leading up to the event.

Race CEO Renee Wilm, during a Formula One Group earnings call on November 3, expressed confidence in a sold-out event. However, with tickets still available on Ticketmaster as of early afternoon, achieving that goal seemed uncertain.

While the inaugural LVGP faced criticism and hurdles, the surge in secondary market ticket sales indicated an undeniable interest in the race. Gametime reported a lowest-priced ticket of $1,387, reflecting the fervor surrounding the event.

Ticket prices on platforms like TickPick also witnessed a significant increase, with the lowest price climbing from $771 on Monday to $1,128 by Saturday afternoon. The betting scene was no exception, with BetMGM and Caesars Entertainment projecting record-setting handles for a motorsports race.

As the engines roared and anticipation built, the Vegas Grand Prix proved to be a star-studded affair, with the drama on and off the track adding an extra layer of excitement to an unforgettable night in Sin City.

  The Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) has countered the BBC documentary on the late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, known as TB Joshua, founder of SCOAN. SCOAN described the documentary against TB Joshua as unfounded, and that the characters interviewed in the report were unknown to the church. The church, in a statement signed by its Public Affairs Director, Mr Dare Adejumo, said the statement was aimed at disabusing public minds from the report. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the BBC released a highly controversial and damning documentary on the late TB Joshua on Monday, accusing him of various crimes, including rape, against some members.   The NBA has suspended former San Antonio Spurs guard  Joshua Primo   for four games   ... after it says it found he exposed his private parts to multiple women. The league announced the ban on Friday morning ... saying an investigation into the free agent revealed he had "engaged in inappropriate and offensive behavior." NBA officials called his actions "conduct detrimental to the league."
