Fashion's Rising Star: Jude Bellingham Emerges as Louis Vuitton's Latest Target

In a clear indication that England's midfield dynamo, Jude Bellingham, has ascended to the pinnacle of sporting stardom, luxury French fashion house Louis Vuitton has set its sights on the 20-year-old for a lucrative endorsement deal, joining the ranks of iconic athletes.

Louis Vuitton, renowned for collaborating with sporting legends such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in a pre-World Cup campaign last year, is now turning its attention to the talented midfielder hailing from Stourbridge.

Bellingham's passion for fashion is no secret, as demonstrated when he graced the Ballon d'Or awards in Paris last month donning a sophisticated Louis Vuitton suit with flared trousers. His connection with the brand deepened further when he attended the men's spring-summer 2024 fashion show in Paris alongside his younger brother Jobe, following his participation in England's Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and Macedonia.

Despite being a rising star at Real Madrid, Bellingham has refrained from personal endorsement deals, except for his existing boot contract with adidas. However, his style and charm caught the eye of Gucci, where he engaged in a photoshoot last year as part of their collaboration with the German sportswear company. Gucci expresses interest in further collaboration, although they have already signed his England teammate, Jack Grealish, in a deal exceeding £1 million.

The trend of footballers venturing into the world of luxury fashion is on the rise, with Manchester City's Jack Grealish securing a seven-figure contract with Gucci in 2022, following in the footsteps of national teammate Marcus Rashford, who serves as an ambassador for Burberry.

Joining this elite league is Erling Haaland, a key player in Pep Guardiola's triumphant squad, who inked a deal with Italian fashion giants Dolce and Gabbana. His association with the brand was unveiled at their Alta Moda fashion show in Puglia over the summer.

For Bellingham, this potential endorsement deal is just the latest accolade in a remarkable start to his career at Real Madrid. Lauded as the LaLiga Player of the Month in both August and October, he has found the net 13 times in 14 games. The recent recognition includes the prestigious Kopa Trophy for the most talented player under 21 at the Ballon d'Or ceremony and the coveted 2023 Golden Boy award in November.

Currently nursing a dislocated shoulder, Bellingham, who was called up by Gareth Southgate for England, is eager to return to action post-international break. Despite being sidelined, his meteoric rise continues, and the endorsement deal with Louis Vuitton could be the next highlight in his burgeoning career.
