Sergio Aguero Sports Man City Gear at Abu Dhabi GP Paddock, Flaunting Etihad Sponsor for F1 Finale

He strode through the paddock in a full blue and white outfit, showing off City's Etihad Airways sponsor, who are from the United Arab Emirates

His old City number, 10, adorned his outfit in a flourish that will bring back many memories for the club's fans.

The Abu Dhabi GP takes place just miles from the headquarters of City's sponsor, Etihad Airways, and it was little coincidence seeing their name slapped across Aguero's chest.

He is known for being an F1 fan and perhaps wouldn't have been so shabby if he had a career in the sport.

In 2012 he finished 1.5 seconds behind Nico Rosberg's Monza time while doing an F1 simulator and left other Premier League stars in the dust.

He has also competed in Esports events and attended other races in the past

The Argentine hung up his football boots in December 2021 aged 33 and broke down in tears as he announced his retirement, brought on by a heart condition.

It was just months after his move to Barcelona, where he never got to play with close friend Lionel Messi as he moved to PSG in the same summer.

He is best known for his prolific exploits in Manchester, where he spent ten seasons and scored 260 goals, racking up five Premier League titles.

Prior to that he played for Independiente in his homeland and made his name in Europe at Atletico Madrid.

The Abu Dhabi GP marks the end of an incredibly long 2023 calendar, being the 22nd race of the season.

Should Mercedes fail to win, it would complete and incredibly rare winless campaign for them, which has seen Max Verstappen storm to the title and Red Bull scoop up the Constructors' Championship with ease.
