Media personality, Omoyele Sowore has revealed that the police said he was arrested for defaming Regina Daniel's husband, Ned Nwoko. 

 

The media personality wrote on Facebook; 

 

Released from Nigeria Police Force idiotic arrest and detention. They claimed I defamed a criminal, Ned Nwoko! Useless people.

In another post, Sowore claimed he was detained for refusing to write a statement after being detained. 

 

He added; 

 

Yesterday I was arrested and detained by @nigeriapoliceforce for what they claimed was “criminal defamation” of one @princenednwoko. I kept asking the police team how it is that anyone could defame a person without character or integrity? NO ANSWER! They kept asking me to write a statement, when I refused they opted to detain and then quickly released me because I insisted that the @nigeriapoliceforce had become a disgraceful national institution that has totally sold its soul. The @nigeriapoliceforce has become a despicable mercenary unit for Nigerian VIPs and this is most appalling.

@princenednwoko and his likes have always deployed the police to carry out a wide variety of illegal and criminal repressive activities including the recent illegal detention of @jaruma_empire. My real crime is being a Nigerian. However, everything must be URGENTLY done to end this era of impunity in Nigeria.

NBA Suspends Canada’s Joshua Primo For 4 Games For Exposing Himself To Women

  The NBA has suspended former San Antonio Spurs guard  Joshua Primo   for four games   ... after it says it found he exposed his private parts to multiple women. The league announced the ban on Friday morning ... saying an investigation into the free agent revealed he had "engaged in inappropriate and offensive behavior." NBA officials called his actions "conduct detrimental to the league." They did, however, note that they "did not find evidence that he engaged in any sexual or other misconduct apart from these brief exposures." "Primo maintains that his conduct was not intentional," the league said. Sky Sports' On-Air Mix-Up: Chelsea Players Mistakenly Introduced as Axel Disasi Instead of Noni Madueke in Carabao Cup Semifinal

 Sky Sports were left red-faced after an on-screen graphic mistakenly introduced Chelsea defender Axel Disasi as Noni Madueke on Tuesday night. The pair were both the scoresheet as the Blues thrashed Middlesbrough 6-1 at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final to boo their place at Wembley. But when Disasi spoke to Sky Sports after the game, an on-screen graphic introduced him as Madueke instead. Madueke is four years younger than his Chelsea teammate, plays in a different role and is English, while Disasi is French.
