Ukraine's president, Volodimir Zelensky, has rejected US president, Joe Biden's offer to be evacuated out of the capital Kyiv as Russian forces attempt to close in on the capital after a barrage of airstrikes on cities and military bases


'The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride,' according to a senior American intelligence official with direct knowledge of the conversation.

Earlier, Zelensky said in a televised speech: 'This night they will launch an assault. The enemy will use all of their power on all fronts to break our defense. This night we have to stand ground. The fate of Ukraine is being decided now.'

On Friday, a second Russian Ilyushin Il-76 military transport plane was shot down near Bila Tserkva, 50 miles south of Kyiv, according to two American security officials .


The conversation between Biden and Zelensky comes after a video showed him in his military tent drinking coffee with his men.

US security officials say Zelensky, who three years ago was a comedian and actor, personally coordinated the defense of Kyiv from his military tent.


Biden has authorized the release of $350million of military assistance to Ukraine while France and Poland have agreed to send ammunition and defence systems to Ukraine as at press time.

Characters In BBC’s Documentary On TB Joshua Unknown To Us – Synagogue Church

  The Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) has countered the BBC documentary on the late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, known as TB Joshua, founder of SCOAN. SCOAN described the documentary against TB Joshua as unfounded, and that the characters interviewed in the report were unknown to the church. The church, in a statement signed by its Public Affairs Director, Mr Dare Adejumo, said the statement was aimed at disabusing public minds from the report. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the BBC released a highly controversial and damning documentary on the late TB Joshua on Monday, accusing him of various crimes, including rape, against some members. NBA Suspends Canada’s Joshua Primo For 4 Games For Exposing Himself To Women

  The NBA has suspended former San Antonio Spurs guard  Joshua Primo   for four games   ... after it says it found he exposed his private parts to multiple women. The league announced the ban on Friday morning ... saying an investigation into the free agent revealed he had "engaged in inappropriate and offensive behavior." NBA officials called his actions "conduct detrimental to the league." They did, however, note that they "did not find evidence that he engaged in any sexual or other misconduct apart from these brief exposures."
