Mother kills her 7-year-old daughter by flinging her from the terrace of a 4-storey building twice

7 year old daughter Aisika Sarkar was alive when her mother Swathi threw her from the terrace of their

3rd floor building in Bengaluru’s Jaraganahalli.

When Swathi see that her dauther is still live she picked her up again, went back to the terrace and flung her down once more from the four storey building on Sunday afternoon.
A 36-year-old mother killed her own 7 year old differently-abled daughter by throwing her twice from their rented flat on the third floor at Jaraganahalli in JP Nagar.
According to witnesses, the girl survived the initial fall with serious injuries but succumbed after her mother rushed down, scooped her up and went back up to their flat only to throw her down once again in front of petrified neighbors
“I did not understand what was happening at once because Aishika was screaming in pain and Swathi’s nightie had some blood on it. She picked up Aishika and went up. But I never expected her to throw Aishika from the terrace” Swathi then ran into her house. Aishika’s neighbour said.
Residents of the area rounded up the mother and tied her to an electric pole before police arrived at the scene and took her into custody. The accused was working as a teacher till about two years ago and had separated from her husband, a business analyst with a private firm in Indiranagar. Police claimed that the woman seemed mentally disturbed and told them that her daughter was restless and she decided to throw her down to calm her.
Police arrested Swathi, The police said “The deceased child had speech development problems. We have taken the father’s statement, who said that, the accused Swathi Sarkar used to get angry and lose control of herself. He has said that their daughter was the victim of her anger”
