Instagram user @adeola_cash shared a short video of a Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer struggling with the driver of a moving vehicle enroute Ibadan.
@adeola_cash insinuated that the officer was seeking a N1,000 bribe.
“Dis video I uploaded now shows how federal road safety corps(FRSC)almost killed me and other passengers in our bus while it was still moving on my way to Ibadan today officers dat are supposed to be protecting us are d ones endangering our lives (all) because of #1,000.”

ISWAP Insurgents Assassinate Village Head In Borno State, Nigeria

Suspected members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have reportedly killed the traditional ruler of Kinnari, a remote village in Damasak, Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State. The brutal attack took place on the night of Friday, August 1, around 9:00 p.m., when the insurgents stormed the village and gunned down the 65-year-old village head, Goni Kinnari, according to security analyst Zagazola Makama. Following the incident, troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and local hunters, swiftly mobilised to the area and successfully repelled the attackers. The remains of the slain traditional leader were evacuated to the General Hospital in Damasak, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
