PRINCE Harry is looking to settle down and find a house with actress girlfriend Meghan Markle, according to reports.
Insiders say Harry is “house-hunting big time” with his focus around Norfolk – just miles from William and Kate’s Anmer Hall.
But any potential property must have space for a polo field, with nature and ample space for Harry’s equestrian pursuits also said to be top priorities.
A source us: “Harry has family on his mind more than ever.
“Until now he’s been busy with the Invictus Games, his appointments and his other charity work so his cottage in Kensington Palace has been more than enough for him.
“But with an engagement looming and potentially the patter of tiny feet, Harry is house-hunting big time.
“None of the properties are too big or ostentatious – that’s not his style. But agents have been briefed there needs to be enough land for a polo field. That’s always been his dream
He wants a relaxed country pad he can retreat to at weekends to join his wife and kids, entertain his mates and live a normal life.”
One frontrunner is Grade II-listed Twyford Hall near Dereham, which boasts eight bedrooms and six reception rooms alongside 70 acres of parkland and woodland.
The source added: “Harry loves the fact Twyford Hall needs a little work so he can really put his stamp on the property and make it his home.
“And he loves all the natural woodland and grounds, a world away from busy Kensington Palace and London.”
Meghan, on the other hand, is said to favour the more-established Guist Hall, a stylish Georgian manor house with lavish gardens.
Rumours had been circulating the couple were house-hunting in the US, with insiders suggesting Harry and Meghan could settle down in glamorous Los Angeles.
But it now appears the Suits star has opted to make the move to England.
The source added Meghan is “blown away” by the UK’s historical and architectural beauty.
