It looks like Drake won’t be the only rap superstar gracing the stage at the NBA’s inaugural awards show. Today, Turner and the association announced Nicki Minaj will perform at the 2017 NBA Awards when TNT airs the event on Monday, June 26 at 9 p.m. EST.

Fresh off a dazzling, multifaceted performance at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, Nicki should keep the audience at the 2017 NBA Awards entertained with a few selections from her extensive catalog of bangers and, of course, her electric showmanship. Considering Drizzy’s hosting the awards show, there’s even a slight chance they take the stage together.

The first ever NBA Awards show will honor the best the NBA has to offer by giving out trophies for Kia’s Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year, Sixth Man Award, Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player and Coach of the Year.

The NBA is also introducing six new awards fans can vote for, which include Best Style, Assist of the Year, Block of the Year, Dunk of the Year, Game Winner of the Year and Performance of the Year. Find out rules for fan voting here.

The event will also feature appearances from the Sports Emmy Award-winning Inside the NBA studio team Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal and a variety of other celebrities and personalities from around the league.

Traditionally, NBA regular season awards are unveiled in the midst of the playoffs and teams have their own special events honoring their players. The 2017 NBA Awards will take place after the NBA Finals conclude at Basketball City in New York City’s Pier 6.

With Nicki performing and Drizzy’s natural hosting charm, the 2017 NBA Awards now officially has something for everyone. We can’t wait.
