Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has described President Muhammadu Buhari as a ‘deeply’ wicked man for refusing to let Igbos go their way and using force on those agitating for the Republic of Biafra.
Fani-Kayode said it was sheer wickedness that instead of engaging members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in a peaceful dialogue, the current government decided to use force on them by killing and maiming them.
Speaking at the public presentation of the book, “The Vanity of ‘Change’ and the Audacity of Truth” written by Jude Ndukwe, the chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party said:
“When those from the east, led by Nnamdi Kanu and gallant others risking their lives said they wanted to eave because they were not getting a fair deal in Nigeria, instead of begging and persuading them to stay, you greet them with bullets, incarcerate them. This wicked package that came with the Buhari administration is unacceptable.”
On the health status of the president and his 2019 ambition, Fani-Kayode said those pushing him to seek for reelection were wicked and heartless.
“Just the other day, the presidency claimed Buhari was well and could run for second term. This is the president we don’t his whereabouts. We don’t know if he can talk, walk or stand and you are here feeding us with what you want us to hear.
“This was a man who was in the country for weeks without attending any function and you want us to believe that he is alright. Instead of those people to tell him that sir, please step down and give power to your second in command they are pushing him for another term, this is ridiculous.”
