Music Producer Claims Rapper Chris Brown Hit Him Over The Head With A Bottle In Nightclub Attack

A music producer has claimed that the rapper Chris Brown hit him over the head with a bottle in nightclub attack.

The unnamed man claimed to The Sun that he was bottled before then being  punched and kicked as he lay on the ground.

He claims that Chris, 33, 'launched the assault' at The Tape club in London's Mayfair on February 19.

Chris was allegedly at the club with his entourage as he spent time in London during his UK tour dates.

The alleged victim told the publication of the alleged incident: 'He hit me over the head two or three times.

'My knee collapsed as well. He's making out it was one of his entourage but it was him.

'I've spoken to the police and they hope to resolve the matter soon. It's now in the hands of my solicitor and I can't comment further.'

The producer claims he had to be taken to hospital and needed crutches to walk when he was discharged.

According to the newspaper, Brown had offered to voluntarily attend a London police station for questioning but sources say he did not meet officers and is now back in the US.

The Metropolitan Police have refused to comment on the identities of anyone they wish to speak to, saying: 'Inquiries continue.'

MailOnline has contacted Chris' representatives for comment but have had no response.

Chris has been under a jam-packed schedule over recent months with his Under The Influence world tour - hitting cities such as London, Glasgow and Dublin in the last few weeks.

It comes after Chris berated his critics for repeatedly mentioning his brutal assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 which sent her to hospital.

Following the latest wave of criticism, which was set of by Chloe Bailey's announcement that she had collaborated with him on her single How Does It Feel, Brown also tried to shift the blame toward other white celebrities that he believed had been given a pass for past domestic abuse claims.
