Kanye West‘s father Ray West has reportedly been diagnosed with stomach cancer and is currently undergoing treatment, Radar Online is reporting.
According to Ray’s ex wife Cheryl,  Ray was diagnosed since last spring. She said: “he’s getting treatment and from what I understand the treatments are working.” 
On the connection between the rapper’s breakdown and Ray’s health, Radar Online added that Cheryl had this to say:
Sometimes you need other events to trigger bigger events. It could have triggered something bigger in Kanye because he is super close to his dad after his mom’s death.

ISWAP Insurgents Assassinate Village Head In Borno State, Nigeria

Suspected members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have reportedly killed the traditional ruler of Kinnari, a remote village in Damasak, Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State. The brutal attack took place on the night of Friday, August 1, around 9:00 p.m., when the insurgents stormed the village and gunned down the 65-year-old village head, Goni Kinnari, according to security analyst Zagazola Makama. Following the incident, troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and local hunters, swiftly mobilised to the area and successfully repelled the attackers. The remains of the slain traditional leader were evacuated to the General Hospital in Damasak, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
