Logan Paul's Revelations: Turning Down a Bout with Mike Tyson and Thriving Beyond Boxing

In a recent episode of his podcast Impaulsive, Logan Paul made waves by revealing that he had turned down an opportunity to fight boxing legend Mike Tyson. While the news of Tyson's upcoming bout with Logan's brother, Jake Paul, made headlines, Logan's revelation added another layer of intrigue to the Paul brothers' boxing journey.

Tyson's return to the ring to face Jake Paul in July, with the fight set to be broadcast by Netflix, marks a significant moment in boxing. It's Tyson's first official fight since his exhibition match with Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, and the age difference between Tyson, 57, and Jake Paul, who is thirty years younger, adds to the spectacle.

However, Logan Paul disclosed that he had been offered a fight with Tyson in the past, but under different circumstances. Speaking candidly, Logan admitted, "I said no to fighting Mike Tyson. I was offered it, but not on Netflix and not for a big payday."

The discussion on the podcast extended to whether Logan believed he could defeat the boxing icon. Despite acknowledging Tyson's legendary status, Logan expressed confidence in his abilities, stating, "I've been asked, 'Do you think you could beat Mike Tyson?' My answer is yes. I just think he's too old; it's crazy. He's senile."

While Tyson may have been a missed opportunity for Logan, it's worth noting that he has already faced formidable opponents in the ring. In 2021, Logan went toe-to-toe with Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition fight that went the distance. Additionally, he boasts two professional fights under his belt, including a victory over former MMA fighter Dillon Danis in October of the previous year.

Beyond boxing, Logan has been expanding his horizons, venturing into the world of WWE. Currently holding the title of United States champion, he's been making waves in the wrestling scene. Furthermore, Logan revealed exciting news about his energy drinks company PRIME becoming the first center-ring sponsor in WWE history, starting at next month's WrestleMania event in Philadelphia.

Meanwhile, Logan's brother, Jake Paul, has been making significant strides in boxing, boasting a record of 9-1. His most recent victory against Ryan Bourland showcased his dominance in the ring, with the match ending in the first round. Despite one loss against Tommy Fury last February, Jake's boxing career continues to garner attention and success.

In essence, while Logan Paul's decision to turn down a fight with Mike Tyson may have raised eyebrows, it's clear that both brothers are carving unique paths in the world of sports and entertainment, each making their mark in their own right.
