China's top diplomat, Foreign Minister Wang Yi, didn't mince words as he lambasted Washington's perplexing trade policies during a press conference on Thursday, held on the fringes of a political gathering in Beijing. Amidst China's fervent promotion of high-tech advancements, Wang criticized the US for what he termed as "bewildering levels of unfathomable absurdity" in its unilateral sanctions.

In a pointed response to questions about trade and technological restrictions with the US, Wang questioned America's confidence as a major power, highlighting concerns about fairness and competition. His remarks came during the annual Foreign Minister’s briefing, a choreographed yet pivotal event allowing China to articulate its foreign policy stance to global media.
