Operatives of the Niger State Police Command have arrested 77 suspected miscreants with dangerous weapons and illicit drugs in Minna.

 

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday, January 31, said the suspects were arrested over the weekend. 

 

"Seventy-seven (77) more suspected miscreants were apprehended by the task force team with dangerous weapons and illicit drugs over the weekend from 28th-30th January, 2022 at Tudun-Fulani, Rafin-Yashi, Gbeganu and Soje-A area of Minna in furtherance to the police effort in sanitizing the city," he stated. 

 

"This is in addition to about one hundred (100) hoodlums arrested from Limawa, Anguwar-Daji, Anguwar-Sarki, Abayi-Close, Kwangila, Anguwar-Biri, Anguwar-Kaje, Anguwar-Kadara, New-Market etc,"

 

The Command reassured residents that the Police is not resting on its oars in ensuring peace and tranquility in our community.

 

"The citizens/residents are hereby encouraged to go about their lawful business without fear of molestation, intimidation or harrasment." the PPRO added.

Characters In BBC’s Documentary On TB Joshua Unknown To Us – Synagogue Church

  The Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) has countered the BBC documentary on the late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, known as TB Joshua, founder of SCOAN. SCOAN described the documentary against TB Joshua as unfounded, and that the characters interviewed in the report were unknown to the church. The church, in a statement signed by its Public Affairs Director, Mr Dare Adejumo, said the statement was aimed at disabusing public minds from the report.   The NBA has suspended former San Antonio Spurs guard  Joshua Primo   for four games   ... after it says it found he exposed his private parts to multiple women. The league announced the ban on Friday morning ... saying an investigation into the free agent revealed he had "engaged in inappropriate and offensive behavior."
