Arnold Schwarzenegger in traffic accident with bicyclist

Former California Governor and Hollywood star, Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a traffic accident that sent a bicyclist to the Emergency Room. 

 

Eyewitnesses told TMZ that Arnold was driving in West Los Angeles on Sunday morning, when a woman riding a bike on the road suddenly swerved into his lane and made contact with his vehicle.

The woman was transported to a hospital after first responders arrived at the scene. While an investigation is ongoing, law enforcement officials have said Schwarzenegger is not at fault for the collision. The woman suffered minor injuries and is expected to be fine.

Suspected members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have reportedly killed the traditional ruler of Kinnari, a remote village in Damasak, Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State. The brutal attack took place on the night of Friday, August 1, around 9:00 p.m., when the insurgents stormed the village and gunned down the 65-year-old village head, Goni Kinnari, according to security analyst Zagazola Makama. Following the incident, troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and local hunters, swiftly mobilised to the area and successfully repelled the attackers. The remains of the slain traditional leader were evacuated to the General Hospital in Damasak, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
