2023 Elections: Non-Transmission Of Results From Polling Units Renders It Invalid. INEC Should Cancel The Elections - PDP Vice Presidential Candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the Peoples Democratic Party's Vice-Presidential candidate has backed calls for cancellation of the ongoing collation of presidential election results. 

 

Speaking at a joint press conference with Labour Party's Vice Presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti-Ahmed, Okowa stated that the electoral act which Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Yakubu Mahmood, had always wanted, makes it mandatory for elections results to be transmitted from polling units. 

He said this would in turn be used for the manual collation. Okowa stated that failure to do this, renders the process invalid. Watch the video below…
