A pharmacist in cahoots with crooked doctors admitted to illegally selling about $1 Million worth of oxycodone pills out of his Queens drug store, the feds say.

Daniel Russo, 44, of Cedarhurst, LI, copped to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute oxycodone, distribution and possession of oxycodone, and filing false personal and corporate tax returns in Brooklyn federal court Friday, according to prosecutors.

“Russo was a drug dealer in a white coat,” Breon Peace, US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, wrote in a statement.

ISWAP Insurgents Assassinate Village Head In Borno State, Nigeria

Suspected members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have reportedly killed the traditional ruler of Kinnari, a remote village in Damasak, Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State. The brutal attack took place on the night of Friday, August 1, around 9:00 p.m., when the insurgents stormed the village and gunned down the 65-year-old village head, Goni Kinnari, according to security analyst Zagazola Makama. Following the incident, troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and local hunters, swiftly mobilised to the area and successfully repelled the attackers. The remains of the slain traditional leader were evacuated to the General Hospital in Damasak, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
