Former Super Eagles captain and Arsenal legend, Nwankwo Kanu has paid a tribute to his former coach Arsene Wenger who is living the club after 22 years.
The 68-year-old Frenchman, who joined Arsenal from Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1996 shocked the football world when he announced in a statement on Friday that he will step down at the end of the season after 22 years.
Kanu, 41, who joined Arsenal in a £4.15 million deal from Inter Milan in 1999, took his Instagram account to pay tribute to Wenger.

Sharing a photo with Wenger, as they pose together with his no.25 jersey on the day he was signed, the former Super Eagles captain wrote:
'Big shoes for anyone to fill, playing for Arsenal under Arsene was one of the best period of my career, 2 premiership, 2 FA cups, The invincibles, playing with some of the best assembled players, influencing millions of fans in Africa to support this great club are some of the memories that come to fore today but above all the privilege to have played for a gentleman like Wenger is most cherished. ? ? ? ?
