There is tension in the senate now as suspended senator, Ovie Omo-Agege, stormed the chamber this morning and carted away the mace. He was said to have sneaked in through one of the glass barricades within the national assembly and carred the mace.
Security operatives ran to the senator to get hold of him but he was shielded by his aides whom he came with.
Senator Omo-Agege was suspended for protesting the amendments to the election dates by the senate. Omo-Agege had argued that the adjustments to the 2019 election dates were done so it would work against President Buhari.

  The Trump administration deported eight migrants from Djibouti to South Sudan on Friday, following a series of fast-moving legal battles and despite warnings from their attorneys that they face the risk of torture, imprisonment, or even death. The deportation went ahead after a federal judge in Massachusetts denied an emergency request by the migrants' lawyers to block their removal. U.S. District Judge Brian E.
