Pop singer, Rihanna is mourning the death of her cousin, Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, 21 who was shot-to-death in Barbados on Tuesday, December 26, just a day after they spent Christmas together.
Posting a series of photos with her cousin, the 29-year-old heartbroken 'Wild Thoughts' singer wrote to her 59million Instagram followers:

'RIP cousin... can't believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms!' 
'Never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man!' 
Rihanna added the hashtag, '#endgunviolence,' at the end of the post, calling for the end of gun violence.

According to the Nation News, Alleyne was walking through a track in the St Michael's area of Barbados around 7pm Tuesday night when he was approached by a man and shot several times,

The man then fled the scene, and has not been identified. 
The 21-year-old was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle but eventually didn't make it due to the injuries he sustained from the gunshot.
