Shane, the son of Barcelona and Netherlands legend Patrick Kluivert, has signed a contract with sportswear giant  Nike.
The 9-year-old boy took to his Instagram account, where he has 120,000 followers, to share the good news. 
He wrote: "Very proud signed my first contract with @nike "
Proud father Patrick also shared the news on social. He wrote: "My son so proud of you @shanekluivert Just signed his first contract with @Nike at nine years #proud #love."
Apart from Shane's famous father, his brother Justin Kluivert, 18, is a Dutch professional football player, who currently plays for Ajax as a right winger. This makes Shane Kluivert the third member of the Kluivert family to make a name for himself.
Companies such as Nike and Adidas have talent identification departments which sign up promising young players.

ISWAP Insurgents Assassinate Village Head In Borno State, Nigeria

Suspected members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have reportedly killed the traditional ruler of Kinnari, a remote village in Damasak, Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State. The brutal attack took place on the night of Friday, August 1, around 9:00 p.m., when the insurgents stormed the village and gunned down the 65-year-old village head, Goni Kinnari, according to security analyst Zagazola Makama. Following the incident, troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and local hunters, swiftly mobilised to the area and successfully repelled the attackers. The remains of the slain traditional leader were evacuated to the General Hospital in Damasak, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
