Two Hurt After Drone Crash In Russian City Near Ukraine

Two people were wounded on Thursday when a drone hit Russia’s southwestern city of Belgorod near Ukraine, regional officials said.

“An unknown device exploded in Belgorod,” regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Telegram.

“According to preliminary data, a UAV fell onto a road,” he said, referring to an unmanned aerial vehicle.

The governor said two men were injured and one of them was hospitalised with a suspected concussion.

Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov said the explosion went off near a petrol station, adding the blast took place “not far from the ground.”

Local officials were inspecting nearby buildings to see if they were damaged, Demidov said.

The Belgorod region, bordering Ukraine, has in recent weeks been hit by multiple strikes from across the border and seen attempted incursions from armed anti-Kremlin groups.

Earlier Thursday, the defence ministry in Moscow said that Russia used jets and artillery to thwart an attempt by Ukrainian troops to “invade” the region of Belgorod.

Characters In BBC’s Documentary On TB Joshua Unknown To Us – Synagogue Church

  The Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) has countered the BBC documentary on the late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, known as TB Joshua, founder of SCOAN. SCOAN described the documentary against TB Joshua as unfounded, and that the characters interviewed in the report were unknown to the church. The church, in a statement signed by its Public Affairs Director, Mr Dare Adejumo, said the statement was aimed at disabusing public minds from the report. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the BBC released a highly controversial and damning documentary on the late TB Joshua on Monday, accusing him of various crimes, including rape, against some members.   The NBA has suspended former San Antonio Spurs guard  Joshua Primo   for four games   ... after it says it found he exposed his private parts to multiple women. The league announced the ban on Friday morning ... saying an investigation into the free agent revealed he had "engaged in inappropriate and offensive behavior." NBA officials called his actions "conduct detrimental to the league."
