Federal High court issues arrest warrant for Innoson CEO, Innocent Chukwuma

A Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos State has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the CEO of Innosson Nigeria Ltd, Innocent Chukwuma and two others over fraud allegations.  
Justice Ayokunle Faji gave the ruling on Monday June 24th, directing that the Innoson boss be arrested and produced in court for trial.

ISWAP Insurgents Assassinate Village Head In Borno State, Nigeria

Suspected members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have reportedly killed the traditional ruler of Kinnari, a remote village in Damasak, Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State. The brutal attack took place on the night of Friday, August 1, around 9:00 p.m., when the insurgents stormed the village and gunned down the 65-year-old village head, Goni Kinnari, according to security analyst Zagazola Makama. Following the incident, troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and local hunters, swiftly mobilised to the area and successfully repelled the attackers. The remains of the slain traditional leader were evacuated to the General Hospital in Damasak, where he was confirmed dead on arrival. His body was later released to his family for burial in accordance with Islamic rites.
