Since the crowning, Ugochi has remained a bit lowkey, and we’re guessing she was coming to terms with her new title. Now, she has shared photos on her Instagram page, of her family and friends accompanied by a special message, showing gratitude to every single person who supported her through this journey.
She wrote:
In the light of recent events, words are definitely not enough to express how honoured I am to have been crowned “The most beautiful girl in Nigeria” To have been considered for such a title and role, I feel immensely privileged and honoured. Therefore I am giving a special thank you to the Lord Almighty and to the silverbird group for presenting me with this lifelong opportunity and for making a dream a reality. Once again thank you.
I am especially grateful to a few amazing people whose support is the reason I was able to attain this height;
My mother for her unflinching devotion, her undying support, her confidence in me, for her love. I will forever be indebted to you
My father for the prayers and blessings he showered on me, for his faith in me.
My uncle, Adim Williams for his utter believe in me and for being there every step of the way
My brother somto, my number one coach and tutor. Makua, jide and chibuikem for their love.

A special thank you to Opara Alma @arc_alma, Jumbo Frances and to all Fggc owerri alumni, your love and support was a driving force and I will never forget it
My friends and course mates at uniben
To my coaches and chaperones at the camp.
And to my fellow contestants who have become lifelong friends and sisters, the tribunal and Ondto people 😁😁😁😁😁 Mrs Grace @menaallure for the wonderful evening dress.
I also want to appreciate Phil, for ALWAYS being there. Freeme, Jajawaka for your support.
All those who had faith in me and voted for me. I pray I don’t disappoint you all.
I am dedicating my title to our great Nation. With your continuous support I hope to serve you with every fibre of my being and to achieve greatness for you.
