Two acrobats at a top circus plunged 30ft to the ground in front of a horrified audience when the show went wrong.

 

Two women were performing on ribbons suspended in the air when they fell to the ground.

 

The performance was stopped and screens were immediately put around the two performers after the accident at Victoria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent, England, on the evening of Friday, March 11.

 

At first, the crowd thought it was part of the production, but they realised it was serious when theatre staff asked them to leave the venue and the show was stopped.

Circus of Horrors has issued a Facebook post saying the girls are now "ok" and urging people to "give them some privacy".

 

It’s understood that the accident took place 10 minutes after audience members returned to their seats after the intermission.

 

The Circus’s Facebook post read: "Thank you for all your kind words. I’m glad to say the girls are ok. Please let’s give them some privacy now."

 

Rachelle Donson said: "It was so distressing to witness this. I really pray these girls are okay. Fantastic show up until then."

 

Loz Davis wrote: "It was an amazing show! But so shocking to see what happened. Hope both the girls make a full recovery."

 

Kazduck Harrison added: "We thought it was part of the show but soon became obvious it wasn’t. Black screens were put around them and we were asked to leave. Such a shame."

Characters In BBC’s Documentary On TB Joshua Unknown To Us – Synagogue Church

  The Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) has countered the BBC documentary on the late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, known as TB Joshua, founder of SCOAN. SCOAN described the documentary against TB Joshua as unfounded, and that the characters interviewed in the report were unknown to the church. The church, in a statement signed by its Public Affairs Director, Mr Dare Adejumo, said the statement was aimed at disabusing public minds from the report. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the BBC released a highly controversial and damning documentary on the late TB Joshua on Monday, accusing him of various crimes, including rape, against some members. NBA Suspends Canada’s Joshua Primo For 4 Games For Exposing Himself To Women

  The NBA has suspended former San Antonio Spurs guard  Joshua Primo   for four games   ... after it says it found he exposed his private parts to multiple women. The league announced the ban on Friday morning ... saying an investigation into the free agent revealed he had "engaged in inappropriate and offensive behavior." NBA officials called his actions "conduct detrimental to the league." They did, however, note that they "did not find evidence that he engaged in any sexual or other misconduct apart from these brief exposures." "Primo maintains that his conduct was not intentional," the league said.
