House of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila on Tuesday February 18 appealed to Chinese authorities for help in tackling insecurity across the country.
Gbajabiamila made the appeal while receiving Chinese Ambassador Mr Zhou Pingjian in Abuja yesterday.
Daily Trust reported he said;
“Our biggest problem right now is the issue of insecurity, and we’ll be happy to get help now from wherever we can.
“So, in terms of military ties, we’ll be happy to get help from you at this time.”
On his own part, Pingjian said China would continue to support Nigeria to achieve her set goals.
