Nigerian superstars, Wilfred Ndidi, Odion Ighalo and Victor Osihmen have been nominated for the 2019 African Player of the Year Award by Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The three Nigerian stars who play for Lecister City, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua and Lille respectively, were shortlised alongside 27 African footballers including the previous winner, Mohamed Salah of Egypt and Liverpool for the award.

For the CAF Youth Player of the Year 2019 nominees, Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze and striker Victor Osimhen also made the shortlist.
