US House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi has launched a formal impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, which she said would now serve as an umbrella for numerous congressional investigations into the Republican president.
The Democratic leader said Trump had betrayed his Oath of Office and undermined national security.
'This week the president has admitted to asking the president of Ukraine to take actions which would benefit him politically. The actions of the Trump presidency revealed dishonorable fact of the president's betrayal of his Oath of Office, betrayal of our national security, and betrayal of the integrity of our national elections.
'Therefore, today I'm announcing the House of Representatives is moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry. I'm directing our six committees to proceed with their investigation under that umbrella of impeachment inquiry. The president must be held accountable. No one is above the law' she stated.
Pelosi made the announcement publicly after informing her caucus privately of her decision. She'd been under intense pressure from Democrats inside and outside Congress to move forward with impeachment, with the cupping running over on Tuesday when a new call came from former Vice President Joe Biden.
President Trump is currently in New York attending the United Nations. He returned to his penthouse in Trump Tower just in time to see Pelosi's announcement that Democrats are seeking to keep him out of the White House permanently.
He immediately fired back on Twitter, saying, 'Such an important day at the United Nations, so much work and so much success, and the Democrats purposely had to ruin and demean it with more breaking news Witch Hunt garbage. So bad for our Country!. Pelosi, Nadler, Schiff and, of course, Maxine Waters! Can you believe this?'  'They never even saw the transcript of the call. A total Witch Hunt!'

Characters In BBC’s Documentary On TB Joshua Unknown To Us – Synagogue Church

  The Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) has countered the BBC documentary on the late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, known as TB Joshua, founder of SCOAN. SCOAN described the documentary against TB Joshua as unfounded, and that the characters interviewed in the report were unknown to the church. The church, in a statement signed by its Public Affairs Director, Mr Dare Adejumo, said the statement was aimed at disabusing public minds from the report. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the BBC released a highly controversial and damning documentary on the late TB Joshua on Monday, accusing him of various crimes, including rape, against some members. SCOAN said, “BBC World Services investigative unit, code-named Africa Eye, came out this week with weird and strange episodes of atrocities against the late founder of SCOAN.” It said that to investigate and publish or broadcast reports was a central kernel of journalism, but to do so outside the ethics and fundamental principles

NBA Suspends Canada’s Joshua Primo For 4 Games For Exposing Himself To Women

  The NBA has suspended former San Antonio Spurs guard  Joshua Primo   for four games   ... after it says it found he exposed his private parts to multiple women. The league announced the ban on Friday morning ... saying an investigation into the free agent revealed he had "engaged in inappropriate and offensive behavior." NBA officials called his actions "conduct detrimental to the league." They did, however, note that they "did not find evidence that he engaged in any sexual or other misconduct apart from these brief exposures."
