The federal government of Nigeria is mulling the idea of banning all flights from the UK as soon as possible over a new deadlier Covid-19 strain.

NoireTv news gathered from sources that Buhari government is not taking chances of a possible transmission of the new dealier and more contagious Covid-19 which has just been discovered in the United Kingdom.

Sources say the federal government through Joint Task Force (JTF) on Covid-19 may release the statement banning all UK flights into Nigerian airspace in order to forestall possible transmission from passengers coming home for yuletide celebrations.

NoireTv recall the the Dutch government today banned all flights from the United Kingdom over the new development which is giving serious cause for concern to UK and EU authorities.

  Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry has said at least 87 people were killed and more than 40 injured in Saturday's Israeli air strike on the city of Beit Lahia in the north of the Palestinian enclave.
