Egyptian singer, Shyma, whose new music video captured her in a classroom full of men, performing in her underwear while ‘suggestively’ eating a banana, has come under fire over the racy video.

Shyma’s got arrested over the video for her song ‘I have issues’ and was charged with ‘inciting debauchery’, following a number of complaints in her home country.
The singer however apologized over the video in which she was seen eating a banana in front of a chalkboard with the number #69 scrawled across it, admitting that she did not expect the backlash against it.




She wrote on Facebook;

“I apologise to all the people who saw the clip and were upset by it and took it in an inappropriate way.
I didn’t imagine all this would happen and that I would be subjected to such a strong attack from everyone, as a young singer… who has dreamt from a young age of being a singer.”
However it’s still not known if she will be charged to court.
