The state Commissioner for health, Dr Ikechukwu Obi, disclosed this in a statement released today June 26. He said the 72 infected health workers were among a total of 202 that have tested positive in Enugu. Obi also confirmed 28 new cases of COVID-19 in the state as announced on Thursday night by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The new charge, effective from August 1, requires passengers to pay N2,000 as PSC, instead of the former N1000 for domestic flights. As for international passengers, they will have to pay $100 as opposed to the previous $50. Ajimobi's spokesperson said;  “The funeral arrangements will be announced soon by the family but it will be observed privately so as to be in accordance with the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guidelines.” Ajimobi died on Thursday June 25, days after he was placed on life support following Coronavirus complications he suffered.
